Agni III will be flight-tested any time between February 6 and 8. The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is planning to conduct the test at the Inner Wheeler Island off the Orissa coast. Sources at the defence base in Chandipur said the surface-tosurface missile, with a strike range of about 3,500 km, would be test-fired in full operational stage.............ExpressBuzz

Agni V is the next generation deterrent system of India with crucial features to counter the defense shield systems currently being developed by beijing.Apart from that, a single Agni V can carry multiple payloads ,be easily deployed over rail lines and navigate without GPS system at very bad weather incase the GPS is jammed or our space facilities are compromised by the chinese also along this missile will came with some advanced technologies like ring laser gyroscope and accelerator for navigation and guidance. In matters such as these it is always better to be overprepared.
