Ha! So Israel, which is widely believed to possess nuclear weapons, gets to threaten other countries with war if they even try to develop nuclear technology, because that would threaten Israel's nuclear monopoly.
If any other country threatened another sovereign nation with pre-emptive war, the UN would be up against it. Why is war-mongering acceptable when a few privileged countries do it?
If Israel wants to keep the middle-east nuke free, it should start with clearing out it's own nuclear arsenal. Then the other countries in the neighborhood wouldn't feel threatened by it and won't feel the need to develop their own nukes to protect themselves.
