IDEX 2009:Chinese wheeled armoured personnel carrier Type 07P from Norinco

The new Chinese Norinco Type 07P is a wheeled armored personnel carrier based to a 8x8 APC family featured with high mobility and cross country ability, strong fire power, excellent self-protection and easy operation. It can be diversified into reconnaissance vehicle, missile launching vehicle, fire power support vehicle, recovery vehicle, command vehicle, etc. It is an ideal vehicle for combat, anti-terrorism and anti-riot and especially suitable for desert environment. The Type 07P can be fitted with a two man turret, armed with an automatic gun of 30 mm, and a coaxial machine gun of 7,62 mm. The maximum road speed is 100 km/h, with a maximum range of 600 km. The Type 07P is also an amphibious vehicle, and he has a maximum speed in the water of 4 km/h.
