Admiral Noman Bashir to arrive in China today


The Admiral of Pakistan Navy, Admiral Noman Bashir would be leading two warships into the Chinese coastal city of Kang Do of Shin Dong province. This six-day visit is in connection with 60th year celebrations of Chinese PLA Navy, to be held in the Eastern coastal city, and the Pakistani Admiral would also be holding parlays with Chinese admiral, city mayor, high-ranking officials, and also address a seminar based on peaceful seas. Talking exclusively to Online on Saturday, the spokesman of Navy’s PR department affirmed a very cordial and strong coordination between navies of two countries, which was a strong guarantee of maintaining peace in entire South Asian region.


He said that this participation in the Chinese celebrations would further enhance already strong relationship between navies of two countries. It is pertinent to note that both countries were actively involved in joint and indigenous manufacturing of F-22P frigate in Karachi. He said that visit of Admiral Noman Bashir to China would further boost bilateral relations between the two countries in maritime sector and defence fields. He said that oil tanker ’Nasar’ manufactured in 1985 in China would also participate in fleet review along with Frigates Badar 184.
