Two Royal Saudi Air Force Eurofighter Typhoon jets were spotted on the runway at Luqa Airport yesterday morning. The jets, which cost approximately €80 million each, can fly at 2,500 km/h and climb 62,000ft in a minute. They are two of the 72 Saudi Arabia ordered in 2005 at a cost of €6.4 billion. The oil-rich nation received its first Eurofighters last year.
