PAF Squadron Reaches Egypt For Multinational Exercise

A PAF fighter Squadron comprising fighter aircrafts along with its compliment of Airmen have reached at an operational Air Base in Egypt to participate in Exercise "Bright Star 2009". It is a multinational biennial joint exercise designed to improve security and defence capabilities, a Directorate of Public Relations (Air) media release said.

Besides PAF and Egyptian Air Forces, the air forces from US, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Jordon, and Kuwait are also participating in the exercise. PAF's participation in the exercise will not only help in improving relations with friendly countries but would also enhance PAF's operational preparedness.
