I don't know why India's continuing with production of this aircraft when they're already trying to acquire and build more modern Medium weight aircraft like the Eurofighter etc. To me the LCA looks more like a trainer instead of a proper warplane.
This Lca mk1 will not be in production after some years , govt plans to go for mk2 version , which is better than mk1 in all aspects . Lca mk1 & Jf-17 is in the same path , but naturally Iaf is no satisfied with mk1 , they are looking for more powerful than this ( Engine / radar ).
