Panzer Strike 09

Panzer Strike 09, in Bergen, Germany, witnessed the first company live-firing of Singapore Army's Leopard 2A4 MBTs from the 48th Battalion, Singapore Armoured Regiment.

Very cool. Leo2A4 is the baseline (or gold standard) by which modern MBT are judged. Singapore seems to follow the pattern - as with its fast jet and submarine fleet - to to gain training and crew experience first before purchasing state of the art equipment. It wouldn't be a surprise if the A4 were later converted to A6 or PSO standard. Another example of sound procurement strategy, imo.
