India to Train SriLankan Military Personnel at its Training Facilities

India today promised to train a much larger number of Sri Lankan military personnel at its defence training facilities as part of its increased defence co-operation with Colombo. After the Indian Peace Keeping Force (IPKF) experiment, when Delhi sent military contingents to LTTE-ravaged Lanka between 1987 and 1990, India had largely kept its defence co-operation with the island country on the backburner. After the annihilation of the Tamil Tigers, India now seems more assured of increasing its defence co-operation with Colombo.

Is that the first step in making SR forces inert? After showing great skills in destrying Indian created and supported terrorist LTTE group, we thought that SR forces are perhaps in a position to train Indian military. It is just going the opposite way. May be it's due to arm twisting. Interesting to note.

you dumb ass,you seriously think india is responsible for creation of LTTE,if you know the history well, ltte carried out assasination of our prime minister, and indian government wanted to capture the head of ltte......dead or alive.
