The aerospace and defence sector in the country is growing leaps and bounds and is fast emerging as a key participant in the Asia-Pacific region. The US and European aerospace companies are now recognising India as a critical market as well as a potential manufacturing partner.Major procurement programmes are going to take place in next few years. India is seeking to acquire some of the most globally advanced systems for its Navy — SLBM nuclear submarines and aircraft carriers, Army — large numbers of T-90 main battle tanks and other assets to equip eight divisional sized battlegroups) and Air Force — Su-30 advanced fighter aircraft and a follow-up state of the art air superiority fighters in about 2017. Overall, the acquisitions budget will grow from around $17 billion in 2011 to $19.20 billion in 2015, an increase of nearly 15%.

How come India is a nation of the most poorest people on earth, sleeping on streets, farmers doing suicides, politions corrupt and state governments always fithing with eachothr and their are solid information that this country will not be their in next ten years as naxalis are controling 30% India already.
Now this is a laugh..Some moron here thinks that India the poorest nation on earth,maybe he needs an economics lesson.Evry nation has poor n homeless ppl n India is no different.We also have our share and we are working on it but with our own money and not charity and a begging bowl like some of our esteemed neighbors do.
As far as being there after 10-15 yrs goes,well we have been there for centuries n will continue to do so for the future.The naxals are internal problems which will be taken take of eventually by our own forces.We don't need some other nation to come and bomb them in our land.
