How will you rate BrahMos This Russian/Indian Missile with the
C-603 Anti Ship missile in the Pakistan Naval Inventory as This missile has the range of 280-350 Km
Dear Orc,
Where did you see the Brahmos? Care to elaborate?
Shafqat salahuddin,
C-603 and other chinese export anti ship and LCAMs are all subsonic (<Mach 1). Modern naval ships have a variety of means to take out these missiles. All the way from electronic Jamming, to anti missile missiles and CIWS high speed guns. Most Indian navy ships have several layers of these systems except for the really small missile boats. The C-603 is imported from China.
The Brahmos on the other hand, travels at close to Mach 3. There is NO known means to counter this system. Besides, the new seeker with this missile has been giving near pinpoint accuracy in recent tests. The missile has acheived pin point accuracy even in hurricane level winds. The Brahmos is being manufactured in India in two factories.
You can judge.
