A news website near the city of Yekaterinburg posted a video of the forgotten tanks showing passers-by clambering inside the vehicles and playing with empty ammunition belts. That is personal order few years ago by President Medevedev executed by Minister Ivanov!
Few years ago has been decided that as part of the REFORM of the army - they'll scrap most of their 22 000 tanks.
That has been decided as part of military REORGANIZATION & modernization of whole Russian army!
Army will keep only 6000 tanks the rest goes in reserve and old ones SOLD to Africa and other poor countries that can't afford new tanks or scraped!
